Get ready for school! 

Healthy Start Community Day is a free back-to-school community event hosted by the Champaign County Christian Health Center.

This event is designed to help children and families prepare for the upcoming school year by providing free school and sports physicals, access to community resources, and connections to  support services.

Families will also have the opportunity to connect with local organizations, enjoy family-friendly activities, and receive school readiness support.

Services

Free Physicals

School physicals, sports physicals, and basic health screenings. 

Community Resources

Family resource organizations, school support services, insurance resource navigation and health and wellness information. 

School Supplies

Backpacks and pantry items. 

Family Activities

Activities, refreshments, and giveaways

Is the event free?

Yes. All services and activities provided through Healthy Start Community Day are free.

Do I need insurance?

No insurance is required.

Are appointments required?

Appointments are encouraged due to limited availability.

Will walk-ins be accepted?

Limited walk-ins may be available depending on capacity.

What should I bring?

Please bring school or sports physical forms and any available immunization records.

Can organizations participate in the event?

Yes, we would love to have your organization participate! Community organizations and businesses may participate through sponsorships, vendor tables, or community resource partnerships (spaces are limited!).
